Until recently, everything sounded like “science fiction”, but in the last few years it has become a harsh reality - apartments in Dubai are cheaper than in Zagreb. Middle Eastern luxury is no longer reserved only for those with the deepest pockets. Real estate there is increasingly sought after by Croatian citizens, even those with average purchasing power. What used to be an apartment in Zagreb in terms of investment or savings has now become one in Dubai. Following this claim, which we ourselves found hard to believe at first, we found domestic real estate agents specializing in selling real estate in the United Arab Emirates and they admitted to us - inquiries are becoming more frequent, there are more and more buyers, the business is expanding. Why is this so and who is buying these apartments?
